About the blog

The Geofluids blog intends to inform those who are interested in the underground fluids including groundwater, thermal water, hydrocarbons and their interrelationships. Due to climate change and population growth, topics such as underground water resources, groundwater-surface water interactions, exploitation of water resources, water management, environmental issues, natural conservation, and irrigation are increasingly frequented. Additionally, the blog also focuses on the enhanced and environment-friendly exploitation of fluid-related resources, like hydrothermal mineral resources and geothermal energy.

The blog is managed by the ENeRAG H2020 project (No. 810980), the Regional Groundwater Flow Commission-IAH and the József and Erzsébet Tóth Endowed Hydrogeology Chair. If you use the comments and explanations please refer to this blog. Thank you.
